Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 September 2026
This site, ridgelinebusinessfunding.com, is operated by Ridgeline Capital Solutions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company trading as Ridgeline. This policy explains what we collect when you ask us about funding, why we collect it, who we give it to, and what you can tell us to do with it.
Ridgeline is not a bank and not a lender. We do not lend money and we do not make credit decisions. We are a broker: we take your file to funding companies that purchase future receivables, and those companies decide whether to make you an offer. This site is not affiliated with any bank.
Who this policy covers
It covers business owners and their authorised representatives who use this site, submit an enquiry, complete a funding application, or speak with us by phone, text or email. It is written for businesses. We do not offer consumer financing and we do not knowingly collect information for personal, family or household purposes.
What you give us
When you start a file. Your name, mobile number, business email, the legal name of your business, its entity type, its state, its EIN, roughly what it deposits in a month, how long it has been trading, how many advances it currently has open, how much funding you are looking for, what it is for, and a self-reported estimate of your personal credit. We do not run a credit check to give you this estimate and nothing at this stage affects your credit score.
Business bank statements. Usually four months. These are the core of the file, because funding decisions here are made on deposits rather than on credit. They contain your account numbers, balances, and every transaction in the period.
When you complete the application. Your date of birth, home address, ownership percentage, driver's licence or government ID, Social Security number, your business's banking details including routing and account numbers, details of every advance the business already has open, and your signature.
If we speak. What you tell us on the call, and a recording and transcript of it. You are told at the start of every call that it is recorded.
What we collect automatically
Your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit, and the advertising parameters that brought you here. If you started a file and did not finish it, we keep what you had entered so we can pick it up where you left off.
Consent records. When you tick the boxes on the first screen we record the exact wording you were shown, a version stamp for it, the time, your IP address and your browser. We also use TrustedForm, a third-party service from ActiveProspect that independently certifies that a consent event happened. This is evidence that you agreed to be contacted, and we keep it for that reason.
Advertising. We use the Meta pixel to measure which advertisements produce enquiries. It tells Meta that a visit or a submission happened and lets us measure our advertising. It does not send Meta your bank statements, your application, or any document you upload.
Why we use it
- To work out whether your business can realistically be funded, and to tell you if it cannot.
- To read your bank statements so that your file goes to a funder whose requirements it actually fits.
- To assemble and submit your file to funding companies.
- To contact you about the file by phone, text and email, including with an automated assistant, on the basis of the consent you gave on the first screen.
- To present you with any offer we receive, and to help you compare it.
- To keep records we are required to keep, to prevent fraud, and to defend ourselves if a claim is made.
Who we give it to
Funding companies. This is the purpose of the service. With your consent, we submit your file to funding companies we believe will fund it. We submit to no more than two at a time, and we do not sell your file, post it to a lead exchange, or distribute it to a list of buyers. If you ask us who has your file, we will tell you.
Service providers. Companies that host this site and store your documents, send our email and text messages, run our telephone system and its automated assistant, certify consent, and keep our customer records. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.
Professional advisers and authorities. Our lawyers and accountants where needed, and anyone we are legally required to give it to, including in response to a subpoena, court order or lawful request.
A successor. If the business is sold or merged, your information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.
Text messages
Your consent to receive text messages from us is never shared with or sold to anyone, including the funding companies we submit your file to. Text messages from us are operational: a link to upload your statements, a link to your application, a link to your offer. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them permanently, or HELP for help.
How long we keep it
Consent records and their TrustedForm certificates: five years, because that is how long we may need to evidence them. Bank statements, applications and identity documents: for the life of the file and then seven years, which is the period funding companies and our own records require. Call recordings and transcripts: two years. Enquiries that never became a file: two years. If you ask us to delete your information we will do so except where we are required to keep it, and we will tell you what we kept and why.
Security
Your documents are held in private encrypted storage and are not publicly accessible. Your Social Security number and your bank account and routing numbers exist only inside the application document that goes to a funding company; they are not stored in our customer records, not written into our notes, and not sent in the body of an email. Access is limited to the people who package files. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim ours is.
Your choices
- Stop the texts. Reply STOP to any message. It takes effect immediately and permanently.
- Stop the calls. Tell us on any call, or email us. The same applies.
- Stop the emails. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them.
- See it, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we will tell you what we hold, fix anything wrong, or delete what we are not required to keep.
- Withdraw your file. Tell us at any time and we will stop submitting it and tell any funder that has it.
Depending on where your business is, you may have further rights under state law, including to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email us as below.
Where we operate
We accept enquiries only from businesses in the states listed on our form. If your state is not listed we are not open there, and we will hold your details only to contact you if that changes. You can ask us to delete them instead.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will appear here before they take effect.
